Blogging Baldwin Hills (the live version)

(I wish I'd started blogging this show fom the beginning, but alas, here we are, 3 or 4 episodes in. So hopefully, if you're reading this, you also watch BH and are right there with me. Today I'm watching last week's episode that I recorded.)

These staged "reality" shows are... interesting. I guess they are given a scene and told to improvise real life. I think I read that somewhere. The adults are always terrible at it. (Except for that one boy's momma who went off on him for having that pool party or "kickback" without her permission. haha)

Anyways, so Seiko, Stacy and Aysia are hanging out, discussing Justin, which is odd to me, since I think that Seiko likes Justin, not to mention that I like them better together. They are telling Asia what a good guy he is, when suddenly Aysia finds an old wig of Seiko's which leads to the planning of, you guessed it, yet another kickback, excuse me, "function," as Stacy renames it.

"I was gone for a minute, but now I'm home,

Please forgive me for being a rolling stone."

Man, it's been a minute. But it's time to come back to blogland. Got lots on my mind these days. Man, this decade number 3 is a momofuko! I am metamorphosizing like kuh-razy. Socially, emotionally, academically, you-name-it-ally.

I'm thinking of trying out therapy. I got a whole lot of thoughts, and I need to organize them. Yeah, that's what I need. A mental organizer. It's like clutter in the closet. Sometimes you gotta bring in a professional. My mom used to walk into my room and say, "You know, they say a messy desk (or room) is a reflection of your mind. Let's hope they're wrong." Oh how I'd roll my eyes. But today, mom, I think you're right.

Speaking of professionals, heard a fantastic speaker today, Glinda Bridgforth, author of those Girl, Make Your ... series of books. She was such a good speaker and had such practical tips. Two things stand out from today's presentation.
