Twice in the last month I have heard someone whom I know in real life (read: not Jada or Mary) extol the wonders of Carol's Daughter. After seeing one girl's gorgeous twist out, I decided to give it a try. It also didn't hurt that she claimed to be able to glide a comb through her hair after using these products.
So off to Sephora I went yesterday. I picked up Khoret Amen Shampoo With Sea Moss along with New bye-bye tangles recipe! Khoret Amen Hair Smoothie and Khoret Amen Leave-in Conditioner. These were the exact three products the twist-out girl recommended.
I washed my hair with Suave kid's shampoo first. I knew I would need more than one wash, and those CD products are not cheap! Then I used the Khoret Amen Shampoo. (What I read most about this shampoo online is the aversion to the smell. Actually, I liked it. It's herbal. But not in a Herbal Essences flowery kinda way. More like in an Origins + deep in the forest kind of way. If you prefer fruity scents, you may not care for it. But, I liked it.) Upon rinsing it out, my hair was SO soft. But also very shrunken. That scared me. But I decided not to fret since the conditioning was still to come.
